Strategic HR blueprint designed with project plan and milestones agreed up front, workshops to design content concepts, weekly strategic check-ins to support on progress, an email sounding board available throughout.

Recent projects include full restructure review and support through redundancy exercise, creation of management behaviour framework with all associated documents linking recruitment, job profiles, and performance reviews.

Mentoring

 

HR Mentoring available on 1:1 basis as part of a project or standalone to develop skills or confidence.


Typically I work with HR professionals in 1,4 or 6 sessions to deep dive into their skills, their careers, their challenges and  support them to design a career pathway which is right for them.

FAQ

I haven't used a consultant before what should I know?

As a freelance consultant I can be totally flexible to your unique circumstances, no fixed concepts or assumptions of what you need.  We start with a chat, what are your challenges, where is your role or business heading and we identify together what would help.  We talk budgets, time and capacity before I make a suggestion of how I can help, you then get time to consider if this is right for you.  No pressure, it starts with a chat.

 

Where will you complete the work?

I primarily work remotely with regular contact via videocall and email, for clients in North Yorkshire I am happy to offer this face to face.  Usually with 3 face to face meetings in a 2 month project as the work requires.

 

How will I know how much it costs?

 

I am totally upfront about fees and will be very clear about any costs in advance.  I generally charge a fixed price for review work and then once agreed deliver on a day rate basis.  The rates will depend on the complexity of the work but I typically charge £500 for a full review and report and £650 per day for work delivery.

 

Is there any HR work you don't do?

Yes, and thanks for asking.  I don't work on ER or live cases.  I am happy to advice the HR lead on an approach in general terms but I wouldn't read in to the case or advise directly - if that is the HR support you need, just let me know I have some great contacts I can recommend who do this type of HR work brilliantly.


I focus on the fundamental structures which sit underneath the HR work, the Architecture of HR.  I build the policies, frameworks, processes and systems which set up your business and your people to be ready for change, growth and success.
